Global Equality Collective (GEC)
The
Global Equality Collective (GEC) is proud to be standing shoulder to shoulder with #DiverseEd. The GEC was founded on the belief that achieving equality will ensure a better, fairer, more prosperous society for all. Our work covers homes, education & business, covers all 9 characteristics of the Equality Act (2010)
PLUS single parent rights and socio-economic status, and takes various forms.
We have an award-winning, open online community of over 15k, made up of change-makers, teachers, parents, leaders, authors and academics.
Our
GEC Collective boasts 300 DEI subject matter experts, and we launched our "sensational" digitalised solution for education and workplaces in late 2020, the
GEC App - the world's first app for diversity, equality and inclusion created by our co-founders, Nicole Ponsford and Cat Wildman. This is available now for organisations and early years to post16 educational settings.
Our 3+ years of research with the Collective has taken us all the way back to before birth, where a spectrum of imbalance lays out a map for our lives.
Our constant aim is to interrupt these maps of imbalance, from cradle to retirement, challenge norms, #SmashingStereotypes and fighting for equality for all people.
