We have been listening carefully to our customers and speaking to educators from across the world to develop and improve our platform and content, and are now delighted to present Lyfta 2.0.

The new platform boasts an array of amazing new storyworlds from across the globe and some powerful new features that we have built with the help of dozens of teachers from primary, secondary and special education schools across the UK and Finland.

Teachers will now be able to create even more engaging and impactful lessons and assemblies focused on a range of curriculum areas including PSHE, citizenship, geography and literacy, as well as building vitally important competencies, values, and social emotional skills and teaching SDGs.

Lyfta 2.0 new features:

Vastly expanded range of content and stories from around the world.

Our initial range of three storyworld series (Awra Amba, Secrets of the Opera and Dinnertime 360) has now been expanded to 30 fascinating, immersive storyworlds from 10 different countries, featuring new powerful short documentaries, rich media and a host of new lessons and assemblies. We also have an exciting pipeline of new content on the way and will have three yearly releases of new storyworlds, in January, April and September.

New storyworlds

Lyfta's powerful teaching content is based on storyworlds; interactive 360-degree environments that allow children to explore real places featuring real people whom they can get to know and understand through powerful short documentary films, rich media articles and infographics.
Among the new content is a brilliant series of 4 storyworlds around sustainability which we made in collaboration with the Finnish National Agency for Education and have been highly recommended to schools in Finland nationally.
Storyworlds cover a range of important topics featuring people from around the world. You can explore a selection of the storyworlds in the gallery here.
