Started by the World Wildlife Fund, this symbolic event is observed on the last Saturday of March at 8:30 pm local time. Everyone is encouraged to turn off non-essential lights for one hour, as a collective commitment to tackling climate change. Lyfta's ready-to-go lesson plans and teaching resources can inspire students with discussions on energy conservation and environmental impact. Students learn the power of small gestures in creating a big impact, and contributing to a brighter, more sustainable future.
